The idea behind Calaacal comes from Fmylife.com which has a large collection of everyday anecdotes and stories likely to happen to anyone and everyone. When you submit an Calaacal to us, it is than placed into moderation until it receives enough Yes votes to be placed on to the main website. If a calaacal gets too many No votes, it will be automatically deleted.

How did it all begin?

Calaacal.net is founded by web designer and web geek Mohamed Dirie at Diriye Concepts. Started in January 2010, Calaacal.net has been on and off for a very long time. The story of Calaacal.net begins with Diriye and friends in a student organization office thinking about what would be fun to see online. Calaacal.net is now in its 3rd version.
